A nonrefundable application fee of $60 is to be submitted along with your application.
A comprehensive fee of $6,300 includes tuition, room, "Chinese table" meals, audio materials, rechargeable cafeteria cards, student ID, admission and transportation to all PiB designated activities and excursions, and 24-7 on-site assistance. This fee also covers cost of special lectures, individual sessions, Chinese film showings, tutorials and extra-curricular activities as well as three daylong trips and two evening cultural activities on weekends. Airport pick-up (on Friday, June 19) and drop-off (on Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and August 16) are also included.
All other costs, such as all meals outside the "Chinese tables" and textbooks are paid for by students. Students normally will need $1000-$1,500 for living expenses. (This estimate does not include other forms of shopping expenditure though.) Transportation to and from Beijing is arranged and paid for by students. Students are responsible for arriving in Beijing on Friday, June 19, in time for the placement exam which will begin early the following day. Airfare from the East Coast of the United States is expected to cost approximately $1,500 to $2,000.
Both Princeton and non-Princeton students are eligible to apply for Financial Aid.
